I cleaned the house, did laundry, baked cookies, and fixed dinner. As I look around right now, looks like I need to do it all again tomorrow. How can two little girls make a house look like a bomb went off in it in a matter of a few minutes? I think my laundry is breeding too. </div><div style="background-color: #b6d7a8;"><br />
Kameryn had her first Session II indoor soccer game today. They won 5-0 and Kameryn scored a goal too. She really likes soccer. Madyson was a little under the weather and was up most of the night coughing so we stayed home and missed the game. </div><div style="background-color: #b6d7a8;"><br />
</div><div style="background-color: #b6d7a8;">I started a new crochet project today. A Yellow Baby Afghan. I guess blogging about it yesterday made me want to get it back out. Kameryn was excited to get out the scarfs that I have finished and play with them. She loves to put on the hats and scarfs. She wants me to teach her how to crochet. She doesn't have the patience yet to sit down and learn, but I will teach her in a few years. She is artsy fartsy like I am. </div><div style="background-color: #b6d7a8;"><br />
</div><div style="background-color: #b6d7a8;">Madyson on the other hand is just destructive. If she is quiet, she is taking something apart. Her tool of choice is the screwdriver. I dont' know where she finds them all, but she pulls them out of nowhere. I can't tell you how many times I have tightened down the screws on the door to the knocker. She loves to take that thing off. </div><div style="background-color: #b6d7a8;"><br />
</div><div style="background-color: #b6d7a8;">Tonight I walk into our bedroom and there lays Paul with his Kindle, Madyson with her Leapster 2 and Kameryn with her DSi. They didn't even notice that I had walked into the room. Pitiful, but funny and cute. Wishing now that I had taken a picture. I am sure that they will do it again. They love their little gadgets. </div>Jessica's Daily Eventhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10728367954726477203noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7174104001830545440.post-64425810580416311482011-01-14T17:34:00.000-08:002011-01-14T17:34:50.226-08:00January 14, 2011 my thoughts for the day!!<div style="background-color: #f4cccc; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;"><b><span style="color: #e06666;">My thoughts for the Day</span></b></span> </div><div style="background-color: #f4cccc; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="background-color: #f4cccc; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">I am a wife and mother of two very energetic girls. I am a full-time paralegal at a law firm and have been there for the past 12 years. I enjoy crafting, photography, family, writing, and various other things. You could say I am a jack of all traits and master of known. </div><div style="background-color: #f4cccc; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="background-color: #f4cccc; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">I would have to say that my love of crafting began when I was nine years old. I had to have surgery and they couldn't get me to hold still. My great Aunt decided to teach me how to crochet. I have loved crafting since that time. Out of three daughters and numerous grand-daughters, I am the only one that she taught to crochet. She made her grand-daughters blankets that she called their "Maybe Baby" blankets. She would make them in a neutral color that way if they had a boy or a girl they would have them. </div><div style="background-color: #f4cccc; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="background-color: #f4cccc; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;">She passed away a few years ago and had left several unfinished projects and tons of different colors of yarn. One of her projects was an afghan for her grand-daughter Erica's wedding. Erica had already picked out the yarn colors that she wanted and she had started it. I asked my cousin if I could take the unfinished project and complete it for her. I was not able to attend Erica's wedding, but I was able to complete the afghan and surprise her with it. My mom put on the card from myself and Grandma North. It meant the world to me to be able to finish it for her. I have one more to finish and plan on having it done in the next couple of months. I wasn't able to find the exact match of yarn that she used, but I have found a close second. </div><div style="background-color: #f4cccc; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="background-color: #f4cccc; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">For Christmas a couple years ago I asked for a professional camera. I would love to take pictures as a career someday, but in the meantime, I am taking pictures of friends kids and families. I took the picture of my girls on this page at a cemetery along with numerous others of a friends little girl. I know it sounds like a strange place to take pictures, but it is a beautiful cemetery with a lot of different settings in one area. There is very little traffic to have to deal with and you don't have to find a place to park. You can just park anywhere. My favorite pictures are the ones where they are being natural and not staring at the camera. That is why I love the one above. </span></div><div style="background-color: #f4cccc; text-align: justify;"><br />

They were all so focused on the little one that they forgot I was taking pictures. These always seem to be the ones that turn out the best and the ones that I love. For Christmas this year we got the great-grand-daughters together and took pictures for their Great-Grandmother (GG) as they call her for a collage. It turned out really nice. </span></div>Jessica's Daily Eventhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10728367954726477203noreply@blogger.com2
